Decorating An Apartment On A Small Budget – Looking for home decor ideas on a budget? Here are some ideas that will make your space look great.
Interior design ideas on a budget are my bread and butter. I’m really proud when I find a way to decorate a place for pennies on the price.
Decorating An Apartment On A Small Budget
Having decorated my spaces over the years, from the master bedroom in my parent’s house, to my bedroom, to my living room, I’ve collected a number of tips, tricks and secrets that make managing my limited-space home easier. the budget.
Amazing (and Reversible) Apartment Decorating Ideas
I hope you can breathe again and know that yes, your place is great and won’t break the bank. It is possible, I promise.
One of the most important steps (and my favorite) is creating a vision board. this is very important because like everything else in life, you don’t want to go blind and crash.
I like to start with a vision board so I can see exactly what colors I’m vibrating with, what mood I’m in, etc. Even if you think the motivational images you use don’t match, you’ll find that they do eventually (99% of the time).
Everyone has their own style of making a vision board. Personally, I like to make mine on Pinterest. This is the easiest way I’ve found and they have all the inspiration I want and more.

Once I created my vision board on Pinterest, I copied and pasted the images into a Google Doc, printed them, cut them out, glued them to the board, and voila, the vision board was ready. Making a vision board is also very therapeutic and inspiring (can you tell I love them?).
As I said before, there are many ways to create a vision board. The best way for you is to cut photos from magazines, use Instagram or repost them on Tumblr (photos are really good).
If you don’t want to go through the trouble of cutting out pictures, you can still create a vision board on Pinterest, but don’t print it. You can still get the perfect image of the look you want.
Wow, this point is important. Really, if your space is smaller, stick with lighter colors!! I promise you can ditch your dark colors when you get your mansion, but lighter colors will make your whole space look 10x bigger.

Painting is not expensive either!! This is what you can do in a week and change your location. Dark colors absorb all light in rooms, especially small ones. Now, not only can you use white, but if you love blue, there are many beautiful shades of light blue that will look great. Stick to your taste and try to stay open when it comes to your walls and large pieces (like furniture, paint, etc.).
There are very few apartments where you wouldn’t want to accidentally create a crazy claustrophobic room. it’s a great sign if you’re on a budget, because of course I’m telling you, don’t sell more than you want. It is less. I repeat, it is a small amount.
Too much information can do more harm than good. Simple and small is better for the home, and I promise you, when it all comes together, it won’t be too obvious. You are trying to fit the puzzle together and all the pieces are so complicated that you will have a hard time.
Away!! They really get the job done. I like to add curtains to my space when I want a little pizzazz to make it look better. Really if you want to mix it up add curtains haha. They make your site look and feel 10 times more expensive.

Pro tip: hang the curtains as high as possible. This creates the illusion that your apartment is bigger. Here is a video of me hanging my curtains. click here.
Thank goodness it’s culturally acceptable (just kidding haha, what “culture” hasn’t stopped me before). The savings are great because you can find unique pieces that will really make your space unique. Plus, the prices are amazing for the most part.
If you spend some money and put your creative hat on, most of them are great, but you can DIY quickly. But I promise you, at the end of the day, you will be very thankful that you started making money.
If it’s not worth it, don’t buy it. Not and, but, but. If you budget for the things you need and the time you need to choose the best pieces for your space.
Genius Apartment Decorating Ideas On A Budget You Can Easily Recreate
In today’s world, we are constantly bombarded with new things and products that need to be bought all the time. We can be so sad that the only way to get rid of that feeling is to fill the void. It does make it feel more claustrophobic and dark though. As I said before, less is more.
It seems to go hand in hand with the last thought, but try to leave room for growth. You don’t need to send the bank account once. Your personality will grow with you, so leave a little wiggle room in your space so you can grow together.
If you want your space to look bigger while staying on budget, add mirrors. They really do the job. You won’t believe how different they are. I strongly recommend it.
Time to get crafty!! There are lots of DIYs you can do. It saves you money and still gives you the look you want. If it’s an expensive piece you’ve been eyeing, see if you can make it yourself.
