A Victorian-era pink pasty protects antique crockery, while a goat sculpture (formerly a fixture at Saks Fifth Avenue) guards the refrigerator (disguised with whimsical artwork) from midnight snack robbers. In this space, anything really goes as long as you make it your own.
Just because your kitchen is small doesn’t mean you have to give up places for preparation and eating. Think small like a miniature kitchen island in an apartment designed by Nicolas Obeid. With vintage stools hanging below and Allied Maker pendants hanging above, this vignette has all the influences of its suburban cousins.
